Grooming

Our grooming services use Chris Christensen professional grooming products and are designed to keep your cat clean, comfortable, and well cared for.

Your cat's safety and comfort are always our priority. Every cat responds differently to grooming, and our team takes a gentle, patient approach to help make the experience as comfortable as possible.

Grooming Rates

Full Grooming: $75 + tax

Basic Care Service: $20

Our Basic Care Service includes:

  • Fur brushing

  • Nail trimming

  • Ear cleaning

  • Eye cleaning

Please note: Basic Care does not include bathing.

Optional Add-On Services:

  • Full-body degreasing: +$5

  • De-matting: $20/hour

  • De-matting under 30 minutes: Free

What's Included in Full Grooming

Our Full Grooming service includes:

  • Ear cleaning

  • Tear stain cleaning

  • Nail trimming

  • Paw pad trimming

  • Sanitary trimming

  • Bathing

Services We Do Not Provide

Please note that MeowClub does not offer the following grooming services:

  • Lion Cuts

  • Designer Haircuts

Our grooming services focus on maintaining your cat's hygiene, coat health, comfort, and overall well-being.

De-Matting

The first 30 minutes of de-matting are complimentary.

If additional de-matting is required, the service will be charged at $20 per hour.

First-Time Grooming

For cats that have never been professionally groomed before, please understand that their reactions may be unpredictable, especially in an unfamiliar environment.

Some cats may experience significant stress, anxiety, or fear during their first grooming session, which can make certain procedures, such as bathing, blow-drying, or de-matting, difficult to complete safely.

Our groomer will always do their best to help your cat feel comfortable. However, we cannot guarantee that the full grooming service will be successfully completed, especially if your cat becomes extremely stressed or aggressive.

Your cat's safety and well-being will always come first. If grooming cannot be completed safely, we will contact you to discuss the next steps.

If bathing cannot be completed but the Basic Care Service has already been performed, only the $20 Basic Care Service fee will apply instead of the $75 Full Grooming fee.

If no grooming services can be safely performed, no grooming service fee will be charged.

Appointment Policy

We do not accept walk-ins for grooming.

All grooming services must be booked in advance.

Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, a $20 late arrival fee will apply.

If the delay is too long, we may need to adjust or reschedule your appointment depending on the day's schedule.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

We understand that plans may change. However, each grooming appointment is reserved specifically for your cat, so we kindly ask for advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Cancellation or Rescheduling (24 Hours or More)

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance will not incur any fees or penalties.

Late Cancellation (Less Than 24 Hours)

For a first-time late cancellation or rescheduling request, we will provide a friendly reminder of our cancellation policy. No cancellation fee will be charged.

No-Show

If you miss your scheduled appointment without prior notice, the no-show will be recorded in your booking history.

Repeated Late Cancellations or No-Shows

After two or more late cancellations or no-shows, a $25 booking deposit will be required to secure future grooming appointments.

Booking Deposit Policy

No deposit is required for first-time grooming appointments.

A $25 booking deposit is only required for clients with two or more late cancellations or no-shows.

Deposit refund conditions:

  • Completed grooming appointment: Fully refunded via Interac e-Transfer (EMT).

  • Cancellation with at least 24 hours' notice: Fully refunded via Interac e-Transfer (EMT).

  • Cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice: Deposit is non-refundable.

  • No-show: Deposit is non-refundable.

Pick-Up Policy

Approximately 30 minutes before your cat's grooming is expected to be completed, our customer service team will contact you by text message or phone call.

Please arrange to pick up your cat based on the estimated completion time provided.

The latest pick-up time is 7:30 PM.

If your cat has not been picked up by 7:30 PM, a late pick-up fee of $1 per minute will apply starting at 7:30 PM.

Unexpected Delays

If you expect to be late due to severe weather, significant traffic delays, or another unexpected emergency, please contact us as early as possible.

We understand that unexpected situations can happen and will review these circumstances on a case-by-case basis.

Your Cat's Safety & Comfort

Every cat has a different personality and tolerance for grooming, especially those experiencing professional grooming for the first time.

If your cat experiences significant stress, anxiety, aggression, or discomfort during the grooming session, our groomer may pause, adjust, or discontinue the service to protect your cat's well-being.

If grooming cannot be completed safely, our team will contact you to discuss the next steps.

If only the Basic Care Service has been performed, the $20 Basic Care Service fee will apply instead of the full grooming fee. If no services have been performed, no grooming service fee will apply.
